This is the ideal course for single persons and groups of up to 30 people, from the beginning to advanced turkey hunter. Single person courses are held in Merritt, British Columbia. Group courses can be booked through Rod and Gun/Fish and Game and other Clubs who wish to offer this unique course to their members.
 
This is a four to five hour course. This course can also be broken down into single segments and booked as individual courses or for hunting trade show seminars lasting between 3/4 to 1 1/2 hours.

• Equipment Basics.
• Patterning a Shotgun and Tune a Bow for Turkey Hunting.
• Turkey Hunting Safety.
• A Day in a Turkeys Life (Learn about behavior, routines and habits of turkeys)
• Scouting. (Learn how to read sign, topography and structures that influence turkey behavior and travel patterns.)
• Turkey Vocalization. (Learn the meaning of the different sounds turkeys make and how to use that knowledge in your hunting strategy.)
• Calling (You will learn how to use different calls under the direct guidance of Othmar. After the course you will be able to make the basic calls to lure a big tom that have proven successful time and again.)
• Hunting Tactics. (You will learn the tactics used by successful pros to get close the wily wild turkey.)
• Basic Wild Turkey Conservation and sub species identification.
