This course can also be broken down into single segments and booked as individual courses or for hunting trade show seminars lasting between 3/4 to 1 1/2 hours.

Course Overview

• The Turkey Calling Course will vary from person to person taking the different skill levels into consideration.
• The average course takes between 4 to 6 hours. Beginners are taught on a one-to-one basis with master turkey caller Othmar Vohringer. More experienced callers are taught in small groups that still permit individual attention.
• The students are encouraged to bring their own calls or have the opportunity to use Othmar's calls that have been manufactured to Othmar's exact specifications  with the highest quality materials and individually hand tuned.
• During the course the student will learn to reproduce all common turkey sounds with friction calls. The student will also learn to mix different sounds for best effect and realism.
• Othmar will explain to you the best set ups for calling mature trophy toms and the fine points of calling this extremely difficult to hunt birds successfully.

To give the students the best benefit and Othmar's undivided attention turkey calling classes are best suited for smaller groups of 2 to 4 people. Larger groups and longer lessons are available upon special request.

Single and small group lessons are held in Merritt, British Columbia. Courses are offered all year round.
